The best modern Holmes adaptation. (Fight me!) The Japanese cultural constraints are an incredible swap for Victorian England, Watson's PTSD is beautifully played, and the antagonist reveal is priceless. My only complaint: there isn't more of it.

Jeremy Brett was my favorite Sherlock for most of my life, AND THEN: Yuko Takeuchi, instantly iconic. I watched this entire series on a flight to India and my wardrobe has never been the same. Wato-san? Also perfect. The antagonist reveal? SIMILARLY FLAWLESS.
